- Tried Puppolo Plumbing & Heating once... would never call again - - Anonymous user - 12/10/2012 - comment
I scheduled an appointment 6 days in advance, described the work that needed to be done (it was minor work - dishwasher/fridge hookup)... I took the day off from work... Puppolo told me they weren't sure when they'd be there but they would definitely make it - it may even be as early as 8:00am. ...9:45am I call them just to see if there is a window of time where they might arrive. The answering service said they'd have him call me. No call comes... ...1:00pm. Again, the answering service said they'd have him call me. Again - no call.... ...2:30pm... call again... And again, the answering service said they'd have him call me. ...4:25pm... I call again. Answering service says he got my messages around 3:30... Beyond that, they can't help me. I ask for the owners name (which they give me) but they don't have a number for me to contact him. I understand that stuff happens and he may not have been able to make it as planned - but I took a day off from work. If he had just called to say "hey - I'm sorry - the day got crazy - can we reschedule?" , I'd respect that... If this how Puppolo feels about their customers, I'd rather give my money to someone who respects me as much as I respect the work they do.
