I cut my teeth learning how to paint, brush, roll, spray, sandblast, cut in like nobody's business, coin steel like it's going out of style. I learned from the absolute best in the business. Mr. JG, one bad dude, taught me 1/4 of what he knows, and I'm the best there is. I can coon a high voltage tower when the lines are energized, or cut in a straight line and make it look like a picture. I've got so many award's I have to keep them in storage. I've won so many bad boy painting contest I could retire now. I've been challenged by some of the best in the country, including, Crybaby Donny Ladd, Tall Boy Dale Payne, rough talking Billy Barr, Screaming Demon Don Payne, Taters and Mater's Brian, little bity Grubba Bubba. I've spanked them all. Took their money, sent them down the road kicking gravel! But, the one dude I couldn't even come close to is my mentor, the main dude himself, the baddest of bad, Mr.field superintendent , head honcho, the amazing paint circle's around you whipper snappers, Mr. J.G. da man with the plan. Mr. JG even taught, and spanked, Hubba Bubba Harley himself. But, Mr. J.G.must have kept some secrets to himself. We never could catch that bad boy. I've seen Grubba Bubba Harley sit down and nearly cry in frustration. Mr. J.G. would just laugh! Mr.JG was painting when Harley Bubba was still pooping green and taking a pacifier!

I worked at I.H.Whitehouse and Son's painting company for about 24 year's as a journeyman painter and then as a project director. I was a member of the Whitehouse S.W.A.T. ( special work's application team). We had to be ready to answer the call to respond for any shut down job's that was on a short deadline and had to be done quickly and professionally. We were an elite crew of some of the top notch union painters out of local union 118 in Louisville, Ky. Anybody that made this elite crew were widely recognized as super painters, and a cut above. This crew included some of the best painter's in I.U.P.A.T local 118, including legends as Hubba Bubba, the Screamin Demon, Wild Bill Barr, Pack, Taters & Matters, Leroy Tater Head, Fredd"I", Weasel, Gravy Train Greenwell, Drop a dime Keenan, "Chico" Rodriguez, Frankie, Tom Henry. The Whitehouse painters also had some very knowledgeable supervisors, such highly recognized men as Johhny " little hands" Johnson, Jerry Woodcox, and Roland Hockenberry. Also some of the best estimators in this part of the country, such well known men as Mike " The Duke ", Albert W. . Combined these special crew members would tackle the most challenging and difficult job's to come along. No job was too difficilt for these hard working elite union painter's. From long duration fireproofing job at Southeast Christians church, Indiana Army ammunition plant, Slugger Field or Ford KTP. This is a highly regarded bunch of top notch painters. They could work circles around any other painting contractors in the area, and routinely outperformed paint contractor Howell & Howell, who generally employed mostly " bolt-head" painters, and had very little good equipment to compete with the big boy's at Whitehouse.

Their cut in is very crisp and clean, and they lay down their roller and make it look like it's been sprayed on. If you are looking for quality work, you came to the right shop. At Whitehouse, quality is # 1. They don't do " rough work", they don't paint tanks, they don't do fire proofing. They specialize in high quality painting. No other local shop holds a candle to Whitehouse Painting. You can take it to the bank.

I.H.Whitehouse painting is a top notch outfit that employees the best, hardest working painters in the country. Their painters will work circles around any other painters. Their painters are not a bunch of bolt head painters, or a bunch of closet painters! Their guys are the hardest working bunch of guys around. No other painting outfit anywhere near Louisville Ky. Can hold a candle to their guys. Top notch painters, hard working bad boys!
