Similar to the rating I just read but with a different ending. They were supposed to arrive at 7:30. One showed up, the other three arrived at 10:30. Around noon they told me they were going out for lunch.When they finally left in their truck around 4:30, Mr. Poole called and blamed me for the delay in getting started. I hadn't finished packing my bedroom in the morning. I was finished when they began moving boxes from the bedroom in the late afternoon. Mr. Poole also blamed me for their lunch break, claiming I had told them to take a lunch break. He then demanded an extra $250 for the delay or "you won't see your personal belongings again." When he arrived to take my check, I had the opportunity to tell him what I thought of his business integrity. On top of that, when I arrived at my new home, the dining room table was damaged beyond repair. I have moved twice since and my experience with those two companies was very professional. Mr. Poole is in a league all by himself. Bush League.
     Anonymous user - 11/17/2017 - Mr Poole is a very debilitated alcoholic. I worked for him for a short period of time. he would call me the day before a move and have me drive the truck. he would sit in the truck during the entire job and drink a 5th of whiskey that he cracks every morning when he wakes up. he would scream and holler at us workers the drunker he got. half of the workers were drug addicts he picks up off the street. it isn't a legitimate business. it's just a blithering drunk who has a big truck and advertises as a moving company and picks bums off the street to work for $10 per hour under the table. Mr Poole needs help and does NOT need to be hauling peoples personal belongings.

Hired them to move us from one house to another in Louisville. They were supposed to arrive at 8 am; they showed up at noon. At 4 pm they announced they were "done for the day" because they were tired. What little they did move ended up damaged. We had to scramble to find another company to move us immediately since we had sold our house and had to be out. Thankfully, MARGARET'S MOVERS came to the rescue. All American Moving can not be trusted to complete a job.
