We recently had a contract to sell our home and the buyer's agent used this home inspector for his client. He noted some potentially serious issues in our home's crawl space in his report. It turned out that he did not actually go in the space - he just looked down in and took some pictures. We had these evaluated by an outside structural contractor, who actually went into the crawl space, did a much more thorough investigation and said there were no issues. However, this home inspector's incomplete work and inaccurate report cost us the sale of our home, as the buyers couldn't get past the issues that he noted, that turned out didn't even exist.
