We were purchasing a home in Franklin, NC. Since we were from out of state, our realtor picked this crook. We moved in, the air conditioner was leaking freon...the furnace needed to be replaced. The guys who worked on it said: This inspector was NEVER here. The furnace was not by code!! The owners put in a new bathroom....we took a shower upstairs, and so did the people sitting downstairs! I looked in the smoke detecters....no battery. This guy is a joke....There are other things, but I will stop there. Sure wish we could get our $400 back...or maybe more!!

I would absolutely not recommend Mr. Hawley for your home inspection. He inspected a home I was going to buy and left out quite a few major things. The floors/foundation were horrible and he stated nothing about them. There was a retaining wall that was in great need of repair which he did not mention. His negligence cost me lots of money.
