My daughter had Mr. Skalecke do a home inspection on the condo she was purchasing 2 weeks ago. She closed on the sale and went over to the property. It was cold outside and she turned on the heat. There was no heat coming through the vents in one of the bedrooms. When she called Mr. Skalecke, he stated that he did not test every vent (there are only 6 in the condo), so since she owns the property now (2 days now) it is her responsibility to repair the inoperable vent. There was nothing blocking the vent to impair him from inspecting! If a home inspector can test all 6 vents in a small condo, maybe he should not be inspecting homes.
