- Qualitas the "what ever company". - - Anonymous user - 3/5/2023 - comment
The only "credential" that the Qualitas OWNER claims to have is that he has lived in Idaho all his life and that he has over 150 clients. Well whatever, Qualitas. Why not give potential Qualitas customers access to those Qualits "clients" to get REAL references and reviews? I've only seen non-described, cryptic review names on his Houzz.com website. Also, how will the potential client verify his claims of projects, jobs, and designs that he states are true and factual? Transparency should be Qualitas' first priority toward any future "clients" but this is not likely to happen based on Qualitas' victimology statements.
      - 4/4/2023 - The Owner, Qualitas Co., seems angry, distracted, and, very defensive in his response to his critics. Maybe he should just do the right thing with his clients. Instead of doing things for himself.
Anonymous user - 5/19/2023 - If the Qualitas owner feels that the criticism of his company is false or incorrect why doesn't he correct it with proof instead rants against his clients? There seem to be many examples of lawsuits against him for non-payment by vendors and suppliers. When did living in Idaho for "all his life" become a qualification to be a contractor? If Qualitas had credentials or membership in a Contractor professional organization I'd be more convinced that he was what he says he is but he doesn't.

- I this guy for real? - - Anonymous user - 5/15/2022 - comment
After I read the most recent OWNER's comment, I couldn't help but respond. The OWNER's comments seem detached from reality, defensive, odd, and even bizarre. Instead of addressing his distractor's complaints, he goes into a rant and personal attack against his clients. Not a good look or remedy for a "contractor" who must deal with his client's problems. YIKES!!!!
Anonymous user - 1/27/2023 - The Bizarre comments from the "Owner" of Qualitas led me to research his claims of "suing" his clients. It appears that he withdrew his "suit"[caved] after it was shown that he owed his clients $$$ money. Further, it became very apparent that the client's countersuit would win in court. Again, Qualitas' delusional, paranoid, and out-of-touch rant seems to describe this situation.

These reviews are completely false. I know who these are and I was forced to sue them for breach of contract and non payment. I also was forced to file reports with the Coeur d Alene police Department and also with the US postal service over hate mail they have sent to me on numerous occasions. Their Vendetta against me is a result of me taking rightful legal actions against them for breach of contract and nonpayment. They post as anonymous because there is no truth to what they say. This is a smear. I am a lifelong resident of over 53 years with over 150 satisfied clients. I have not been sued by any clients and have not had to sue any clients other than these people. Exposing them online would be against my beliefs. My attorney as well as the police and postal service have recorded their antics now for nearly four years. Their harassment via hate mail has been the most bizarre experience I've dealt with to date. Their hatred of others and quite possibly themselves is a sad situation to say the least.
Disappointed - 1/2/2021 - We contracted with Qualitas company to do a remodel of our condo beginning in the first week of May 2015. Qualitas Co. estimated a completion date to be on or around July 4, 2015, a 6 - 8 week project. We found working with Qualitas Co. to be argumentative and just plain unprofessional. His contentious attitude and absence from the project along with frequent delays and lack of supervision of his subs caused many issues and costly problems and repairs. After many unanswered requests for remedies to these problems, we thankfully terminated our relationship with Qualitas Company Inc.,on August 18, 2015. The project was still in need of completion. My project was completed by a new and competent contractor without further drama or problems. After many months of failed negotiations, the matter when to litigation. During this period,I was stalked by Qualitas owner and filed a Police complaint. Lessons learned from Qualitas Company Inc. experience: *Qualitas Company Inc. houzz Website is solely for self promotion and has very little actual verifiable information in it. *One of Qualitas company 5 Stars review was from Qualitascoinc, apparently reviewing himself. Other reviewers oddly enough have NO actual names. *Pictures of beautiful homes but with no acknowledgement from Qualitas as to what his actual responsibilities on those jobs were are purposely vague and misleading. *Qualitas owner is a registered contractor. A registered contractor only needs to submit a completed Application for Contractor Registration by mail, with proof of liability insurance attached, and the application fee, to the Idaho Contractors Board. No prior job experience or proof of competency is required. *We later found that the owner had a history of issues and legal suits from vendors and clients in the past. Good luck to all prospective clients. Remember to use due diligence when vetting a contractor.
Anonymous user - 5/15/2022 - Owner The only thing you left out of your very crazy rant was that you were abducted by a UFO and then relentlessly probed. This left you with a very sore bottom but in love with an Alien which lead to many hybrid humans. I guess that makes you a birthing person. Has the Similac shortage been a problem for you?
Anonymous user - 5/15/2022 - Really? Would you want this questionable "Registered (DIY) Contractor", Qualitas to be your contractor after his odd, bizarre comments? Think about it.

I was very disappointed with this so-called "contractor". He did not live up to his promises he made to me.

I found Jon Harper to be more of a bungler than a person who actually knows his craft. He showed little interest or enthusiasm in my project. It was simply another job for him to quickly finish without concern for his client.

He is a registered residential "contractor". Registered residential "contractors" in the State of Idaho are NOT required to have any educational, On the job training or any background experience in the construction trade at all. These amateurs become residential "contractors" because it is very easy and cheap to do and there is no real oversight of them. They also have the appearance of being a real "professional" but they are not! If you have had problem with Harper report him to the Idaho Board of Occupational Licenses (IBOL) and/or the Attorney General Office.

You should submit a complaint to the BUREAU OF OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES. It is simple to do and will put Harper on notice. Harper has a long history of problems with vendors, clients and officials. - Don't do work for this man, he didn't pay his subcontractor!! - - Anonymous user - 4/21/2017 - comment
My husband did a new home foundation on a property he was building. Jon Harper agreed to the quoted amount and the job was done. Upon receiving this bill he said he would only pay half. We called and called and called and he was not even man enough to pick up the call or meet my husband out at the job site to go over anything. He only paid half of the bill. It would take us more time to put a lien on the property and go through that whole thing. I would not trust this man’s word for anything. Do not do work for Jon Harper!!! He is a liar and doesn’t pay his vendors. Upon further review it appears others have opted to take him to court…. 1.Silverstone Construction, JON HARPER, owner, $16,441.46, Lien filed by CDA Builders Supply. 2.ACI Northwest Inc vs. Silverstone Construction LLC, etal.      Anonymous user - 5/1/2017 - This fellow has been a problem for many. You can submit a complaint to The Idaho Board of Occupational Licenses and the Idaho Attorney General Office. His scheme is to gain the vendor/client's trust but NOT have anything in writing. This gives him deniability and no evidence if his victim were to file a Law suit. He has hurt many with this scheme!
Anonymous user - 5/1/2017 - I found that Jon Harper has had many "companies entities" in the past several years. Lakewood Homes, Silverstone Development, Tuff Properties, Qualitas Company and Beaver Creek, LLC. That is suspicious and raises a lot of questions.
