About 4 years ago me and my husband had rented out an apartment from mr.murphy, from day one it was problems in the apartment. We would call him about the problems we were having due to the bathroom faucet not working, the toilet wasnt flushing properly, the hallway carpet had a really bad smell after i vaccumed, the light switches in the living room and kitchen would go on and off, two of the bedrooms windows wouldnt open..i mean the list was long..he said he would send his workers out to fix the problems, and i waited 2 weeks to get the bathroom faucet and toilet fixed(nothing else got fixed). So a week later the bathroom faucet stopped working altogether, so i called him again and a week later he sent over a couple of his workers to fix my faucet. They fixed it, since i had them fixing the faucet i took advantage and told them about the windows, toilet, lights and carpet. The guys took a look at the things i needed fixing and they fixed it(except for the carpet). Mr.murphy is a liar, an opportunist, his rents to his apartments are too high, he doesnt fix his properties(thats why they all look like crap) if youre in need of an apartment or need a plumber or electrician..Run Away!! Get somebody else..anybody else is better than mr.murphy....and f.y.i he doesnt have only 1 employee..he has several employees which he pays them under the table..illegal

We had Richard Murphy install Central Air in our home five years ago. It cost $9000. Right from the beginning, we realized it had a leak. We called and he came the first time and charged the system and said he would return to find the leak when it was cooler. He did not. Each year, this happened. We had to get someone to charge it and it would last through the summer. Each year we called Mr. Murphy. He would say he was coming and not show. This year, our fifth season, it stopped working altogether. We called him last week and he said he was ordering a kit. We have not heard back from him. We called someone else to repair. We are now looking at having to replace our condenser unit. We had given Mr Murphy the benefit of the doubt. Now it has become clearly obvious that he has never had any intention of fulfilling his obligation to ensure that the AC be in working order. He made. Sure he got his payment but did not live up to his ethical obligation.
