Faith Restored Some!! -

commentMy faith and trust has been restored. On Mon. after this weekend of hurt and misunderstanding, Joe called and came over to fix my system. I'm still disappointed in the charges. Since this was still part of the problem they've been out several times to fix (Still not right. Still makes knocking noises). I feel the charges are too high. Especially, in the labor part. And by all means the fuel charge!!!! I would rate them from fair to poor. Also, a little bit off on their honesty statement.

commentI've been a customer of Byron's for quite a while. On Fri. 8/22@8AM I called and got voicemail. I left message telling him that the fan on our unit had torn up again. After 2-3 times more calling & leaving messages I finally got him to answer. He said he'd been at hosp. and couldn't call out told helper, Joe to call which I informed him never happened. He said keep cool as best could it would be 1st thing Sat. morn. before he could get here. I said okay I'd see him then. Sat. morn. came, no Byron or Joe. I called, got v/m again left message no callback. Called 2-3 more times Sat. same thing. Sun. called got v/m again left message saying I hoped he could call or come Mon. morn. & still no callback or show up. Each day we've endured heat 95-98 w/ heat index even higher. I'm totally disabled & bed confined. He knows this and still no contact. Now is this the way to treat a loyal and honest customer? At the top of his invoice it says "Be Honest & Fair W/Him & He'll Be The Same". Does this seem like he's being so? I don't think so. I'm very hurt and disappointed in how he's done. To beat it all the fan wasn't quite a year old and already giving problems by just being used only a short few months.
Anonymous user - 9/1/2014 - I would seriously question if the hospital stay was not over some mental issues the way Mr. Duckett behaves. Perhaps his family got him put there. Not that I am against or bigoted towards those with issues, but this is ridiculous. Mr. Duckett needs to either face all the angry customers here, or go respectably into another business.

commentI called Duckett's because they sold and installed this unit. It never cooled the house. Finally, after I threatened him with a law suit, they came and fixed the shoddy duct work they had installed. Now, the unit isn't working at all. Seven days ago, they told me it was under warranty. Now, Byron Duckett will not answer the phone, or return my numerous messages. Duckett should begin with an 'F'.

commentDon't use this guy. He took my sweeper and promised to fix it and won't answer calls. It has been over a month. I paid him in advance and he cashed my check 32 days ago. He says he had some problems with a divorce but I have my own problems. I can't help everyone. He should do his work and quit complaining. Also, he is very vulgar as the previous customer, Mr. Logan, described. He won't stop referring to vulgar graphic sexual references when in a woman's home and expected to just do his job. He can get as mad as he wants over reading this and rebutting it, but just, please, Byron, get some help, stay away, keep the sweeper.

commentByron duckett at duckett's service is a competitor of mine. When I was in the hospital he helped me catch my calls as well as his brought the checks,cash to me,which I was thankful for. You know that doesn't happen now days. Ole Byron is honest and out going but if I needed a new system ir repair work for my mom and I couldn't do it for her. The first person I would call is Byron.

commentI called and Mr Duckett was repairing a freezer for a local church and he said when he finished the freezer he would call me. Well, he did around 6:30 pm and I had already called a buddy that said the labor was free I only had to pay for the part which I told mr Duckett. Mr Duckett said if your buddy runs into trouble have him call 706-217-7197 Mr Duckett said he would help over the phone at no charge. This is rare now days. That's why I gave him an excellent rating

commentMr Logan or who ever his real name is has lied about his review including saying I hung up on him. Don't know the man and all the lies he is saying its probably a result if a horrible divorce I just went through either the x or her son who I taught the HVAC trade. I taught him to be honest in everything he does. I guess he didn't listen. commentMr. Duckett is the most pervertive person and nasty man ever the way my wife said he looked at her and the things he said. He told my wife he would be happy to make the bill go away for a peep of her pu**y. I called him to discuss it with him and the coward hung up on mute.
