- Does not fix leaks on new roofs - - Eileen M - 6/30/2017 - comment
We used Tim on several jobs and had a good experience. He was always there when he said and fixed issues. This is until he replaced the roof on our own personal residence. He put on a new roof and the same week it leaked. He came out and did some caulking then it was ok. We have since had leaks in several other areas of our house and he WILL NOT return phone calls. This has been going on a year. We gave the guy 2-3 roofing jobs/year in our rehab business... no questions asked. Why give up "easy" jobs by not fixing our one issue? Does he, in fact, know that he does poor work and doesn't want to have to replace the whole roof? Makes you wonder. Since then I've looked Tim up online as well as on CCAP and see this is a common issue with him. Whatever you do, do NOT use him. There are too many other companies out there that will do a good job at a similar price.

Tim was paid 2/3 of the agreed amount after starting. Said he'd give discount for cash. He said he'd send a receipt or bring it the next time he came over to finish the job. After the second day he never came back. All calls to him went to his voice mail. After over a week of not being able to reach Tim, I was forced to call another contractor as it needed to be completed before some rain came. The contractor who came in said what had been done was not up to code, and took a bunch of pictures. After numerous calls to Tim still, we tried reporting through the Consumer Protection Agency and also the Better Business Bureau. No response. Still has never contacted me back. Never sent a receipt.

Hired Tim to come out to do a job. He was eager to start - and returned calls before and during the job. Good luck trying to get a return call or a receipt after. He started the job and promised to finish up the next week. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. Been trying to get a return call for over a month. Nice talker and promises the end result - but it never comes. Looking forward to making a trip up there to stop by and ask why he doesn't return calls or jobs. Paid in full and job still not finished!!! TIM - YOU OUT THERE TIM!!!!.. I'm still waiting for my call back and job to be completed and I'm assuming - Good luck to me on the warranty you promised!!! $7,000 goes a long way.. Get it in writing before you pay!

Hired him (Tim Mariani) to do a repair for a leak. Never called when said he would. Did a bad job with nails showing through the shingles. Roof still leaks and he does not return phone calls. Promised he would fix it, set a time to do so and never showed or called. Took our money and gave us no receipt. Said he would mail it. We won't hold our breath. Also goes by Affordable roofing in Elkhorn Wi. BEWARE... do not hire this guy, he will rip you off. My husband worked a whole week to pay this guy for two hours of nothing. Now we have no money and no way to fix our roof leak.
      - 5/25/2013 - Tim was the very eager to do the work - did it in a timely manner (he must of needed the $7,000 we paid because we never heard form him again )and he never came back to finish up the job. And yes - the receipt has yet to be given - warrantied - HA - I doubt it!! Good luck trying to reach him AFTER you pay him.. Been leaving messages with him for a month and still no call back.
