PLEASE DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER TO CALL THIS THIEF FOR THE "FREE" ESTIMATE. YOU CAN FIND BETTER WORK, BETTER MATERIALS AND HONEST SERVICE FOR A HONEST PRICE BY SHOPPING AROUND. TAKE THIS ADVICE FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN VICTIMIZED BY THIS EXPERIENCED THIEF. YOU BE UNHAPPY WITH THE FINISHED PROJECT, YOU WILL NOT BE TREATED WITH ANY RESPECT ONCE HE GETS YOUR DOWN PAYMENT AND SIGNATURE, AND YOU WILL END UP PAYING WAY WAY WAY TOO MUCH.

The previous homeowner comments describes my situation very well, although my dealing with pete strysick was several years before the review of the homeowner from 2013. The company is no good. The owner can be found drinking in a local tavern every weekday by 4:00 pm. YOU CANNOT TRUST THIS GUY. ALL HE WILL DO GET YOUR MONEY AND RUN BEFORE YOU NOTICE WHAT SHABBY WORK HE HAD HIS SUBCONTRACTORS DO. AND IF YOU CONFRONT HIM YOU WILL NOTICE WHAT KIND .OF SCUM YOU WERE DEALING WITH. HIRE SOMEONE.ELSE. NOT PETE STRYSICK OF KAPS.

     VICTIM - 6/17/2015 - IT is Sweet to see that the Thief has finally been exposed. Not much will happen to him. He'll just lie like.he.is.so goodat doing and be right back doing what he has been doing for many many years. RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.

Poor workmanship, hires others to do the work, he jist gives estimates and collects money. Poor quality work and materials. Had a roof leak three times worse after he fixed it than before he started it.I then needed to hire a reputable roofing contractor to redo it. Reputable roofer laughed and told me that strysick used the wrong materials and that (reputable guy) has gotten quite a few calls to fix what pete strysick has screwed up. And then for warrantee work pete strysick is not going to stand behind his work. Have to go back to the manufacturer/ supplier for service. Windows are improperly installed, not shimmed, siding and soffets are just covered up, any rotted wood is not replaced. Nails fall out soon as strysick pounds them in. (when you pound nails into rotted wood they will not hold). This guy is a.crook and a schmuck. Always beware someone who works out of their home and does not have any markings, no name, no business name, nothing at all to identify them or their business on their work vehicles. You hire this guy you will not be happy.
     Anonymous user - 6/17/2015 - This guy did the same on my house. Rotted wood, cover it up, he said he could fix a small leak on my roof. Next time It rained water came pouring in. It was on a Saturday morning. Rain was running off my table onto the floor. I called.KAPS SIDING AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES to tell him what was going on and he needs to come over RIGHT AWAY as my house is getting soaked inside. Hard rain that day too. Well his answer to me was that he "cannot come over now" Why not I asked, He replied It's raining. Duh. He asked don't (I) have a bucket I could put under the leak. I told him I only have one and it is leaking too big an area. Well, I also ended up calling an honest roofer, they came over and laughed, showed me how KAPS used the wrong material, etc. When the reputable company asked who did the work I told them. Petw Strysick. He started to laugh and I was not the first person who has this happen because of bad (incompetent) repair. I was told I should tell PETE that he (the reputable company) will not do siding and PETE should not do roofing. I am glad that he finally got busted. I would definately recommend that HIRE SOMEONE ELSE. NOT THIS GUY.
