commentHe has been doing the same thing in Ohio. My claim was for $20,535.09 and was for roof, siding, doors, interior painting and gutters. He had not paid his sub-contractors so they stalled on my roof for well over a month. In the process, a storm came thru the area and caused excessive damage to my kitchen counter, cabinets and took out my dishwasher as the water was pouring in from my cabinets adding to the bill. The doors were never ordered and never installed, gutters leak to the point that I have contracted another firm to replace them. The living room painting was never started and siding not finished as much trim was left uncovered. Lighting fixtures were removed and the new fixtures were never installed because the wiring was cut by the siding installers. While remoing my old siding, a water line was cut to my front outdoor faucet with a sawsall and burst during the cold weather. What a mess! He took the money and ran as he's done over and over again.
Anonymous user - 2/6/2014 - I just saw your ad regarding Haddox. I am a roofer and responded to one if his ads online to do subcontracting work for him. I've dealt with contractors my whole life so the beginning behaviors was somewhat typical. That soon changed. He is the worst man, let alone contractor I have ever met. He screwed me and my workers just before Christmas. I have since been in touch with his probation officer, his supervisor there, detectives, patrolmen, prosecutors and attorneys. It astonished me that everyone feels he is only violating civil laws. It is clearly not the case. He had shown DECADES of this fraudulent behavior and still walks among us, dodging one bullet after another. I can't begin to tell you how many lies he has told me in the last 3 months. UPDATE: his time is running out. Active warrants for his arrest are filed, and task forces and the Secret Service is involved in apprehending him. To all the authorities that say this is a civil matter: tip---- the Secret Service doesn't get involved in a civil matter. This is a HIGH criminal manner, and anyone that has ever met this man would agree.
To the author of this article, please post another comment. I'd LOVE to get in touch with you regarding this man. Due to te date of your posting, you obviously hav had recent dealings with him.
Please post and I can let you know where to reach me.
In the meantime, look up the article in the Warren Tribune, I think the ad was on Jan.31. It's under the "at a glance" portion of their local news.
I lost money to him, but justice will be the biggest pay day for me and anyone who has been a victim to him.

Big Scamer Never Do Business With Him -

commentWEST PALM BEACH, Fla - Wellington resident Harvey Brown gets emotional when he looks at his home from the outside. How could he not? He sees a roof that has been left in shambles for the past three months.
"We're an older couple in our 70s on a fixed income," Brown said. "$38,000 is a lot of money."
Brown says he signed two insurance checks, one worth $27,000 and another for $12,000, over to Gregory Haddox the owner of United Roofing Systems in West Palm Beach.
"It was with the concept that he wouldn't cash them until the work was finished," Brown said.
But that's not what Brown says happened. Within days after signing them over, he says the checks were forged and cashed...and the work on his roof stopped.
"He ( Haddox) says I have delays here and there, I have only a few crews," Brown said. "Everything was an excuse."
Brown did some digging and said Haddox has a dozen of lawsuits filed against him and he has left a trail of unhappy customers.
A visit to United Roofing revealed a truck parked in front of the business but all of the doors were locked.
A female employee came to the door and said Haddox was busy but would be in contact, but no one ever called.
In the meantime, more unhappy people continue to come forward... like insurance adjustor Andre Boucher. "I think the authorities need to step up and stop passing the buck," he said. "They keep telling us this is a civil suit. It's much more than that, fraud and theft."
Previous published reports show Haddox has several judgments against him in Ohio, where he reportedly moved from, including an October court issued arrest for for theft charges.
Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink's office is looking into an investigation.
United Roofing Systems in Florida has an active license and Haddox continues to do business.
