Let me summarize how bad they were. I had to file a criminal complaint against Mary Baldwin after I paid her a large sum of money for an automatic pool cover that she never delivered to me. She never even responded to my requests for a refund. The Fairfax Fraud Unit reviewed the matter and had her arrested and recommended prosecution. This in addition to her not completing my pool after I paid her in full. I had to complete the pool myself. HORRIBLE!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! UNETHICAL AND IMMORAL, UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
     Dennis - 3/5/2015 - Maybe you can help me. I filed a criminal complaint against her. for taking money from me after I paid her for a pool cover. She never gave me my pool cover. She has a hearing coming up on this matter and the Fairfax Attorney will more likely prosecute if he feels that shes scammed others. I can be reached at dcottoesq@gmail.com.

Mary E. Baldwin and Lonnie Baldwin are SCAM artist, they are the most unprofessional contractor that I have ever come in contact with. Mary Baldwin presented herself as the most cordial person there was. She made tons of promises but never kept any of them, we entered into a contract with Baldwin Pools on March 9th 2014 and it is now 22 June 2014 and my yard is a disaster and I have a half completed retaining wall, no plaster in the pool and pumps not connected. She has been paid in full and has not held up to her end of the contract. I would not recommend this Company to my worst enemy because they are so unprofessional and racist. I believe that they have no morals or ethics and will never be successful!!

Her team is very meticulous in every aspect of their work. Thank you Mary Baldwin!!!!      Sandra Pinckney - 7/4/2014 - I want to commend Mary Baldwin for taking the time to explain the pros and cons of owning a pool. She refused to take any funding until we were at a proposed point of the installation of the pool. Mary's team did a superb job and we are thankful we chose them!!!

Check out this review - I wish I would have seen this before hiring Baldwin Pools because it fits my experience to the tee. Unfortunately, very few folks reviewed them online - it was only after things spiraled down hill that we saw this - wouldn't be surprised if Baldwin got the negative reviews removed - in one word - BEWARE: Review from another website - I had my in-ground pools built by Baldwin Pools and I must say that it was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Like any company, when we first met with the company for a proposed a pool design, they were very helpful prior to signing a contract. However, once they received most of the payments on the construction it became harder and harder to contact them or get phone calls returned. Construction was a nightmare. They never showed up on the day we were told they would be here. We began our construction in August 2011 and was told it would be complete in 6-8 weeks. Well, it turned December 2011 and the pool was still not finished. I haven't even got a chance to use it and it's now March 2012. They were suppose to regrade the yard after the pool was done, however they left areas where large pools of water would stand in place. I would never recommend this company to anyone, not to mention that they will price gauge you with things they said you would get that you don't. I have now paid and extra three thousand dollars on items that was said to be part of the cost. All of this, and the owner of Baldwin pools had the nerve to drink up most of my beers when showing up. At least it's now over and I never want to meet with this company again.
