Had used tab’s dad many years in the past. The “old man” was excellent. Tab, on the other hand is terrible. After weeks of frustration I discovered he has no license! How the city allows him to operate is beyond me. The minimal work he did had to be re-done. He took our deposit, showed up “stoned” wrecked a wall and left. Would not answer phone calls or texts. Filed a complaint with the city and they “will look in to it.” Incidentally, some of my wife's medications disappeared as well. Sorry excuse for a contractor.

     Anonymous user - 5/10/2020 - WOW! Read what you write. If you had hired Tab, the same Tab Tidwell that I know, he doesnt take pills. Your story is so far fetched it makes me wonder if you really even hired the man. Did you expect people at the city, who know Tab and his talent to take your make believe story serious?? Remember the excellent "ole man"? Well the apple didnt fall far from the tree. That is why you received the response you did. It sounds like you took your wifes pills and wrecked into a wall because you were stoned and lost the money she gave you and when she questioned you and her medicine you made him the culprit. Did you and your wife question Tab about any of this mystery novel you have started? Of course not, because there is no truth in your words. Try reading more and writing less.

Tab isn't a licensed plumber and cannot help you. Please don't make the mistake we did. We moved into our house on Dec 2nd, 2013, and paid Tab to pull a permit and order a state inspection on our gas lines. We didn't know it at the time, but he's not even licensed and cannot order an inspection. He took our money for his "services" and the money for the inspection, and told us it was ordered. Days passed and all he could say is, "hmm, not sure what's holding the inspector up. I'll call first thing in the morning." But he never called anyone. Then he stopped answering our phone calls. After living in our freezing house without hot water or heat for nearly four weeks, we scraped the money together to have another *licensed* plumber take care of it. The gas was on in 3 days (Jan 2nd, a month from the day we moved in). We're upset that someone can treat people this way and get away with it. That's why I'm reporting our experience here so no one else will go through what we did.
     Anonymous user - 5/10/2020 - Apparently you dont know Tab. Maybe that is what this complaint of yours is really about! If he took your money it was for what he said he would do. There is absolutly no way he would EVER let ANYONE go without heat or water for more than 2 days let alone 4 weeks. Tab never bad mouths customers and NEVER speaks negative of anyone on a professional or personal level. You are probably the woman that called him constantly for personal desires and when he didnt respond your ego became bent so you decided to talk trash. Get over your self.
