High Winds blew my AirCond over...exposed opening..unable to turn the water off.I didnt kno water was running. Copper pipe rusted turnoff valve...Im very sick with Covid...water starting to run into my house...I didnt know water was on...Called Rick on Fri 1/28/22. He checked the roof...saw lot of water. Took pictures...I was desperate to stop the water...He was here less than an hour...did not leave for any material. Charges $89 per hr. Repaired my line (copper)with temp. white Pvc pipe at the HotWater heater... and charged me $350.00. With our conversation I tho he did more..I didnt kno till later when other workers came to put the Conditioner back up. They were shocked at his (temp) fix. Thats when I realiaed what he had done... I called him about the overcharge. HE offered to give me some cash back. He doesnt have his name on his receipt..nor on the first pg. of his Website..on his 2nd page its (Rick B.) He is Rick Ballard..He bad mouthed someone else. I feel totally robbed...when u take advantage of someone like that its like being a thief...But told me because of his insurance He charges $300 to get on the roof...He did sweep some of the water away from the opening...I ask him, he said he would..2 others have reviewed him as overcharging...Im 80 and was too sick to think straight... OVER CHARGED and why is he hiding who he is...Because hes related to the BIG BALLARD Heating and plumbing Co.?
