I worked for Carleton Custom Painting on Kodiak Island refurbishing a very large aircraft hangar for the U.S. Coast Guard. The drywall/painting phase of this project lasted for several months. Mr. Carleton was an outstanding boss and an inspiration to his entire work crew. John was always available to field both civilian as well as governmental project engineers' questions. At no time did any of Mr. Carleton's employees lack the needed materials/supplies to perform our specific tasks. Mr. Carleton is a highly respected individual in the construction trades industry. It was an honor to have worked with John. His care, concern and generosity towards his employees was particularly noteworthy. As for me....I would work for him again anytime! He is a wonderful person, friend and a good businessman. Give me a call if you need anything I can be of assistance to you, John. I still do lots of finish work. Even at 64 years old!!!!
