They delay claims for moving companies that primarily serve military personnel. Their entire goal is to undervalue your property, even though the Gov't pays for replacement insurance, and begin a negotiation battle with service members after they PCS. This is an extremely stressful time for Service Members and their families who just want to get their families settled into a new place before school starts, a deployment comes up or heavy training ensues. By using aggressive delay tactic, CAT eventually wears Service members down into accepting less than replacement value for their household goods. Service members do this in an attempt to get their furniture repaired to a useable level or to get "something" in a room that is useable. In some cases we are talking about beds, couches, dining tables that CAT delays settlements on until it is unbearable and the Service member takes a lesser settlement. It is harassment at best and criminal at worst.
