This inspector only found 3 legitimate problems with my property. The other things he said needed to be fixed or changed were the walls by the window in the bedroom needed to be re-painted (the blinds scratched the walls on both sides of the window), the glass on the fire place needed to be cleaned, the water heater needed to be turned down (really...it is a 1 second job to turn the knob on the water heater) and we needed to fill the holes in the walls from wall hangings (again cosmetic!). I didn't know inspections had anything to do with cosmetic issues. I think he was bored and wanted to find things to try and justify his job. I definitely do NOT recommend this inspector unless you want to deal with a bunch of pain in the butt stuff that really shouldn't matter in an inspection.
