Rich Daines was hired by our realtor to complete our home inspection on our new home. When we did the walk through he rushed through the house quickly pointing thing's out to us. I had to walk quickly just to keep up with him. When we got to the furnace i questioned him about it several times but was told it was okay, it just needed a new drip pan. He finished the inspection and left. We waited for the written report but only received pictures with notes. A month later we turned on the furnace and immediately my husband and i began to not feel good. My daughter mentioned that she thought she smelled gas. I called the gas company and within 5 minutes we were red tagged not only for the furnace but our water heater as well. This cost us a significant amount of money. We finally received the written inspection in October after our realtor requested it. In the short time we have been in our home we keep discovering things that he told us were fine and they are not. Do not hire this man.
