- Missed damage on inspection of the roof. - - Robert Schmidt - 8/31/2016 - comment
Mr. Burns made an inspection of our new property and prior damage was overlooked. We were informed that the roof was in good condition without any damage. Our new neighbor advised us what appeared to be a water problem on the side of our home. I made an inspection, with a ladder, and did not get on the roof. A professional bonded roofer was contacted and he confirmed prior damage. Contact was made with Mr. Burns and he refused even to make an inspection or contact his insurance company. Before any possible water damage could occur, we made repairs to our dwelling. We find his actions extremely unprofessional not to even make an inspection or contact his insurance carrier. He must be worried about the ramifications of letting his insurance carrier know he made a mistake, so we wonder how many times this may have occurred in the past. Photographs were taken and sent Mr. Burns and again, no response.
