He took my money and disappeared, never did the job. Kept saying he would have the paper work ready by “Friday” but always had an excuse when Friday came along. I paid him pver $2000 up front and he never did the work!!! He has been reported multiple times in over 5 years for fraud.

William O'Hara is unlicensed. In 2009 Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation ordered him to cease unlicensed practice in architect. (https://www.idfpr.com/Forms/DISCPLN/0910_dis.pdf). If you check Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation's website for license look up, you won't find him, meaning he is still unlicensed. In my case, he was referred by a friend. He deposit my check, but didn't do the job. In the beginning he still answers my phone and email, saying the job will be done soon/by the end of this week/early next week. Then gradually and finally he is not answering my phone/email. I have reported to the city, state, and police.
      - 3/24/2018 - I dealt with Him and he did a very good job, he is part of design group that is licensed and he and his associates completed my entire review and permit process without any major issues.I see the previous comment and after dealing with him and his associates, I find it hard to believe and have wonder that person's real story. I will recommend him to anyone I know.
