The lead architect is way too busy and therefore, never calls back and is extremely slow. It's better to have a competent architect who actually values your business and is responsive to your calls than one who is so busy that you have to wait weeks to get a call back. The first design is never expected to be perfect, but it's getting the changes that is near to impossible. I suppose if you are a huge account, this is a great architect but not if you are less than $1 million new home design.
