Everyone pays a different rent fee. I have a two bedroom apartment and pay $550/MO. My neighbor across the hall has a two bedroom apartment and she pays $425/MO. I lived in a one bedroom apartment, same landlord, for $425/MO before I moved into a two bedroom with my fiancee. We been thinking about moving back to a one bedroom apartment to save money towards our wedding. I asked about a one bedroom apartment and now he's quoting me $500 a month! No one here is on any rental assistance program. Coin operated washers and dryers are provided but don't work most of the time. Neighbors are loud; mainly partying of college kids. A new neighbor moved into a one bedroom is paying $600/MO. Our landlord does most of the remodeling and maintance; he usually starts but never really finishes. Lately when a renter moves he's been investing money to renovate some apartments but he'll be banging away and using power tools between 6am and 8pm keeping people up that want to sleep. Our landlord plows the parking lot sometimes during the winter. He often vacations out of state two to three weeks; leaving nobody in charge if maintance is needed.
