In addition to apartments in Broomfield, Poorvu Properties rents out offices on Melody Drive in Northglenn. They have a Terrible office manager (Dana Olson). They use a slick salesman to get you to sign a two year lease before you realize how poor the customer service is and then you are stuck. They obviously feel they don't have to give good customer service since it is not exactly easy to pick up and move your office--especially if you have an established business. I have had problems with Dana not answering my emails in a timely manner (or at all), refusing to respond to my questions as to what I am to do with the keys to my office when my lease ends, etc. You would think an office manager would have at least a little bit of skill in dealing with people, but that doesn't appear to be a requirement at Poorvu Properties. I asked at the beginning of my lease for the signage by the elevator to be corrected--it never was and I got no response from Dana. Due to a misunderstanding caused by their salesperson I thought I had already paid my last month's rent and the way they chose to inform me that I hadn't paid it after all was to threaten me with late fees and legal action like savages out for a kill --after I had been there two years and paid every single month on-time or early! There were several mistakes in billing over the course of my lease and additional charges that mistakenly carried over month after month that I had notice and take the time to correct myself. Just sloppy, lazy, and miserable "management." There are companies that probably have very competent office managers--this is not one of them. I would never rent an office from this company again. Although the building is nice, it's just not worth it if it means dealing with this woman.
