My experience with king properties has been HORRIBLE. I am not a resident. However I was attempting to aid a resident not getting any response to a repair issue. In the hottest month of the year. The air conditioning in a single apartment has been broken for 4 days. Reported on day 1 which was a Friday. Was told it could not be looked at since it was after 7 pm but would be looked at on the next business day (Sat) day 2. It was diagnosis around 10a.m. and since the job would have taken several hours to complete it was told not to be cared for until Monday day (4) day because of the length of time it would take to be repaired. Monday it was not taken care despite being told they were coming today and again no window units available. Tuesday Day 5 . Was told by office worker on the property that its only 85 degree weather its not and emergency . Several calls to the main office at 804 353-1122 was advise that Mr. King has no direct contact with the residents and that the only way to contact him was by sending a letter to P.O. box 6688 Richmond VA 23220 . Also advise he was the next in line at 130 p.m. Hopefully it will be resolved today.
