We had been using temperature control for 8 years for our business. The past 8 years they have been ripping us off! They had us spend thousands to fix an issue that was only going to get worse after sending too much on a compressor that was going to die out anyway! They did not tell us we needed a new coil which made the new compressor die out faster. We had 2 other opinions all stating we were being screwed. Temperature Control Inc never showed us pictures about how bad it was getting, instead they allowed us to keep being without air and fixing a problem that would only get worse however put more money in their pocket. We called "Nick" out of good faith to fix what he did and he refused after giving him business over 8 years. Do not trust this place. There are PLENTY of other more qualified a/c places around. Do not settle with a company like this one that lies and does not fix their mistakes.
     DP - 3/13/2015 - I used Temperature Control and was very sayisfied with their work. Spending thousands over an 8 year period in South Florida isn't unusual...so maybe expectations were a little unreasonable. A/C systems deteriorate and fail. If you expect them to run forever or cost $25 to repair then you have wrong expectations. And it's not so unusual to repair one part of a system and then have another part fail if you've opted for repair instead of installing an entire new system. I'm on my 2nd compressor and 2nd coil in 10 years. A very reputable company installed the first time, and the parts still failed. I don't hold the installer responsible for failed parts. It's not their fault. My latest repair cost me $1200 and I found that reasonable in today's world. Also, I think it's standard practice for most A/C companies to tell you the others are ripping you off, so I don't put much stock in what other companies said.
